Senior Account Manager

bcsAgency is a rapidly growing, well established, full service integrated agency that has built up a fantastic reputation in Digital Marketing. Based in the heart of Nottingham’s lively city centre, but with plans to open an office in Leeds in the near future, bcsAgency is made up of a strong team of PR, Digital, Strategy, Marketing and Social Media professionals who work on a range of exciting projects.

 

The Role

Senior Account Managers bring creativity, strategic direction, planning, inspiration and leadership to digital, social and multi-channel marketing campaigns. You’ll make sure the overall strategy, quality of work, communication and engagement with clients is delivered to an excellent standard, is profitable for the business and offers value for money and ROI for clients.

Responsibilites
  • Provide strategic direction on accounts
  • Plan and implement strategies/campaigns/projects
  • Work with the wider team to produce ongoing creative campaign ideas
  • Create project plans and workflows
  • Plan and manage fees/budgets
  • Attendance at client meetings
  • Lead quarterly/half-year/annual reviews with clients
  • Proactive liaison with account teams
  • Mentor account team members and assist where required
  • Implement and maintain reporting and planning systems
  • Contribute to potential client tenders and pitches
Expectations
  • Find strategic and creative ways of meeting the clients business/marketing/brand goals
  • Experience with Hubspot and/or other marketing automation tools
  • Experience of website design/build projects, as well as multi-channel marketing campaigns, within an agency environment
  • 5yrs min experience of managing multiple accounts and complex marketing and communication projects
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and creativity in all areas of work
  • Motivate the account team to deliver results
  • Take full ownership of accounts and achieving results including monitoring and evaluating profitability and resource
  • Constantly look for ways to expand accounts and find cross-sell opportunities
  • Actively engage in new business and ways to promote the agency
  • Have a professional attitude and phone manner
  • Adhere to company policies
  • Be presentable and prompt
  • Have excellent organisational skills (some project management training would be preferred)
  • Work well as an individual and as part of a team
  • Excellent understanding of IT office software tools
  • Fantastic internal/external communication skills
  • Be a positive role model for junior members of staff
