Situation
Phlexglobal is a leading global Trial Master File (TMF) technology and service provider. bcsAgency has managed the European PR campaign for the past four years, promoting Phlexglobal's specialist range of services for all administrative aspects of the clinical trial process, plus its unique electronic Trial Master File (eTMF) solution, PhlexEview.
Task
Having secured a broad and established client base in the UK and Europe, Phlexglobal planned its expansion into North America with the opening of an office in Carlsbad, California and the appointment of a US Office President. bcsAgency was tasked with announcing the US office opening and the US Office President appointment to the global media at the DIA Annual Meeting in Washington.
Action
bcsAgency worked closely with the Phlexglobal Marketing Manager to create a media briefing document for the team attending the event, created comprehensive press packs for the show press office, liaised with the show’s registered press contacts setting up telephone pre-briefings and planning on-stand interviews and coordinated a global news announcement.
Results
bcsAgency secured 24 pieces of media coverage across online and print titles, the majority of which were unique articles following pre-briefings or interviews. The Phlexglobal team also received high levels of traffic to the stand and secured a number of potential new business leads.
