Situation
E.ON is one of the UK’s largest electricity and gas suppliers to UK homes, businesses and retail power users. The company delivers energy to millions of people across the country and is part of the E.ON Group.
Task
E.ON wanted to offer existing electricity customers a fantastic deal in the run up to Christmas with not only great gas prices but a series of incentives that would be attractive to their current single fuel customers and create cross sell opportunities. bcsAgency where therefore tasked to design a mailing that made the offer clear, did not concentrate on Christmas as the mailing was going to be in the autumn and deal with nine separate cells of data.
Action
bcsAgency created a series of concepts for the campaign and worked with the client to develop the final illustration based execution to deliver a multi-variant mailing that provided a range of offers to the specific data sets. The offers ranged from discounted bills, cashback and high street shopping vouchers as well as competitively priced gas supply. Copy, layout and illustrations where developed to create the maximum impact for incentives and call to actions.
Result
bcsAgency delivered the final project in a little under five weeks and whilst we can’t share a clients’ response figures we can tell you that the campaign performed above expectations.
